- Black dress/tuxedo pants
- White dress/tuxedo shirt
- Black bow tie
- Black dress socks (no designs)
- Black dress shoes (tuxedo shoes recommended)
- Discrete/minimal jewelry
Option 2: Long Black Dress/Skirt
- Long black dress or black blouse and skirt (must fall below the knees while sitting)
- Black nylons (ankles must be covered)
- Black formal dress shoes (closed toe, short/no heels are preferred)
- Discrete/minimal jewelry
Option 3: Black Suit
- Black, long-sleeved button-down shirt OR long-sleeved formal blouse/top (no designs or logos)
- Black dress coat
- Long black pants in a formal style
- Black dress socks (ankles must be covered)
- Black dress shoes (closed toe, short/no heels are preferred)
- Discrete/minimal jewelry
- Black Necktie (if wearing a black button-down shirt)

- Body hugging clothing (i.e. spandex, stirrup pants, leggings, yoga pants), capris, black jeans, black chinos, short black skirts with leggings, black t-shirts, short sleeved shirts, sleeveless shirts, gym shoes, sandals, flip-flops, boots, low necklines, logos, pinstripes, scarves, and excessive jewelry.
Please Remember:
- The patrons should remember you for how you sound, not for how you look. The focus is on you performing on your instrument; this is not a time for you to make a personal fashion statement.
- Students arriving at school for a performance without proper concert attire will be expected to adhere to the attire guidelines and will be asked to change.
