Upon arrival, you will enter Door #1 on the Southeast corner of our property and be escorted to your hallway staging area where you will have 45 minutes to get changed, unpack instruments, etc. It is basically a hallway homeroom for you, 45 minutes prior to your travel time to warm-up. Pit can assemble in the parking lot and roll to entrance # 11 outdoors, or you are welcome to unload your equipment 15 minutes before your staging time so you'll have less distance in the rain with your equipment.
Warm-up will be in three areas: our Unit Movement Volunteers will escort you
1) Pit - the small gym (entrance #11 on the west side of the building),
2) Hornline, Battery (drums) and Color Guard - Field House Area C for the 1st 15 minutes where you can stage your performance within a full size basketball court with track room behind the court (same as in the main gym performance),
3) Battery (drums)will leave after the 1st 15 minutes to a room around the corner to warm-up separately from the horn line and color guard to reduce the noise level.
Performance in our main gym entering from the north side of the basketball court, and exiting from the south side. Pit will enter and exit from the south side of the court.
You can then return to your "hallway homeroom" where students can leave their instruments, coats, etc. until after your class award ceremony concludes.
Auditorium live video viewing will be available for all students (no food or drink) or cafetorium viewing is available for students to watch while they eat.
Fans and parents will be able to park in front of the school, for the most part, please look for signage and our brave Parking volunteers to help guide you to the open space.
Please feel free to ask for help from any parent wearing a Marching Mustang shirt and a name badge. If they cannot help you they will find someone who can.
We want to make this day as enjoyable and stress free for you, your students and your fans. Please let us know if you need assistance in any way and we will do our best to help.
